A Meaty Christmas and a Happy New Year

It’s funny to think that this time a year ago we’d only been in HK a month and had just stayed up all night moving into our new apartment.  A year has flown by quicker than the blink of an eye, the tummies are starting to rumble in anticipation of what lies ahead and last year’s Christmas tree has been dragged from the cupboard and added to.

And yip, that’s a pukeko at the top of our tree.  We representin’.

The present pile definitely looked a bit healthier than last year, too.  It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas!

We’ve decided the splurge at City Super for our Christmas feast is a new tradition so the fridge is stocked up beautifully with snacks and there’s a GORGEOUS Momofuku inspired bone-in prime ribeye on the menu…drool.

The before shot.

The after (hopefully) shot.

So with presents abundant and food even more abundant, it’s time to get celebrating in style and wish you all a very Merry Christmas, full of all those things that make this time of year awesome.  We even have our very own Santa on hand this year to give the stamp of authentication to the whole proceeding.
