MANGO LASSI (VARANASI)
Lassi are served all over the place in various forms of sweet, salty, sour, plain or with fruit. Β A favourite of ours was the mango lassi, making full use of the gorgeous juicy mangos that grow with abundance in India.
Ingredients:
- 2 mango, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups yoghurt
- 1/2 cold milk
- 2 tsp
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
And then:
Blend. Lol.
What the?! I only just noticed that you guys have a recipe section! And I never knew mango lassi was so healthy. It tastes so rich that I thought there was lots of coconut cream or fatty stuff involved. Will definitely be trying this when the weather gets warmer π
It’s a relatively new addition, bought on by our food in India blog BUT we’re definitely going to add lots more stuff to it as inspiration hits and bellies are filled on our travels π Hadn’t thought about mango lassi being healthy but there you go! Make sure to counteract the goodness with plenty of gulab jamun, hehehe.
