Over our past couple of years in Asia, we’ve managed to encounter a bunch of often unexpected but always impressive street art collections. Yuen Long, a spot in the northern reaches of the New Territories is a wicked little spot housing low(er) rise buildings, an eclectic mix of nationalities, the funkiest, most Caribbean music we’ve heard since, well, we lived in the Caribbean, together with delicious cheap street food and a Sunday neighbourhood street party vibe. Oh yeah and to top it all there’s an epic river bank full of art.

I love this collection, especially the sardonic comment in the final image!!
Indeed!
Reblogged this on pundit from another planet.
amazing
We were pretty thrilled with this ourselves!
Nice. the last one is the best 😛
Yeah, we liked it, too!
Very cool. Love them all. And yes, I too like the last pic. Thanks 🙂
Thanks!
Probably the most amount of animated characters I’ve seen in one graffiti collection haha. Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Spongebob, giant rat-mole-seal looking thing..?! Only in Asia!
Right? You’d get the bash for that where we’re from, hahaha.
How awesome was that view in the black and white and that lovely older woman’s face and character lines! did you guys try that trick where you stand on either side of the line to the New Territories, where one foot is in HK and the other foot is in China? lol 🙂
We didn’t know about that line – we’ll definitely go and stand there just to say we did! Details?!
